Terms & Conditions

This page lays out what applies when you visit Debt Free Firm or ask us to introduce you to a personal loan lender. Using the site in any way means you accept it, so please give it a proper read before you send us anything.

Clause 1

Section 1: Before we start

Thanks for stopping by Debt Free Firm. From the moment you begin using this website — browsing, weighing your options, or asking us to introduce you to a personal loan lender — the terms on this page apply to you. Please read through all nine sections before you go any further.

How we treat the information you give us lives in a separate document, our Privacy Policy.

Not comfortable with something here? Then please hold off on sending us your details. You can close this page at any time, no explanation needed.

Clause 2

Section 2: Using this site

This website exists for one purpose: to introduce you to a personal loan lender. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for that purpose, and nothing beyond it. While you're here, you agree not to:

  • Overload, disrupt or attempt to break into our servers, systems or networks
  • Access another visitor's account, or any restricted area or feature, without permission
  • Copy, scrape or republish the site's content for a commercial purpose without our written go-ahead
  • Upload anything unlawful, harmful, abusive or infected with malicious code
  • Use bots, scripts or other automated means to interact with the site, or otherwise deal with it deceptively

Breaking any of the above gives us the right to suspend or end your access at any time, without advance notice.

Clause 3

Section 3: What we are, and what we're not

Debt Free Firm runs a marketing and referral website — nothing more. We are not a lender, we don't broker loans, and we're not a law firm or a credit counseling service. We have no hand in setting a loan's interest rate or terms, and no power to influence a lender's decision. What we do is put you in front of a personal loan provider that works with borrowers in situations like yours, so you can take it from there directly with them.

Sending a request through this site is not a loan application in itself, and no lender is obligated to make you an offer. Past that point, every call belongs to the lender: whether to extend credit, at what rate, on what terms and in what form, following its own underwriting standards and the law that applies to it.

Our part stops at the introduction. The details you share may be passed to the lender or lenders in our network that we connect you with, and those lenders may compensate us when a connection is made. You are never charged for using Debt Free Firm.

Clause 4

Section 4: Information, not advice

Everything published on this site — articles, tools, guides — is meant to inform you, not to advise you. None of it should be read as guidance on your finances, your legal standing, your taxes or your credit. Before committing to a loan or any other significant financial step, speak with a qualified professional who knows your full circumstances.

We work to keep our content accurate and current, but Debt Free Firm makes no warranty, express or implied, that it is correct, complete, or right for your particular situation. Acting on what you read here is your own decision, at your own risk.

Clause 5

Section 5: What to understand about loan introductions

Any figures, rates or example scenarios shown on this site are there to illustrate an idea, nothing more. They are not offers, and they don't predict what any lender will propose or what you personally will qualify for. Whatever proposal a lender makes, if any, comes from its own read of your credit, income and circumstances at the point you're introduced.

  • Example numbers and rates are illustrative only and are never guaranteed
  • What's on offer, and its terms, can differ from lender to lender and from state to state
  • Exploring your options usually starts with a soft inquiry, which generally leaves your score untouched. A full application, and any hard inquiry tied to it, is a separate step the lender walks you through on its own
  • A loan is a real financial commitment — missed payments can lead to fees, extra interest, collection activity or damage to your credit
  • Only the lender you're introduced to decides approval, rate and terms, based on its own underwriting
  • Any loan you go on to accept is governed by that lender's own terms, plus the state and federal law that applies to it
Clause 6

Section 6: Lenders and other outside sites

This site may link out to personal loan lenders, service providers and other websites we don't operate, some of which we work with. We don't control any of them and take no responsibility for what they publish, how they run their business, or how well they protect your information. Any arrangement you strike with a lender is strictly between you and that lender.

Read a lender's own terms, fee schedule and privacy policy in full before you accept anything it offers.

Clause 7

Section 7: The limits of our liability

To the fullest extent the law permits, Debt Free Firm and its directors, officers, employees, representatives and successors carry no liability for indirect, special, incidental, punitive or consequential losses — lost revenue or lost data, for instance — arising from:

  • Your use of this website, or your inability to use it
  • Any decision you make based on content published here
  • Unauthorized access to your personal information by someone else
  • The conduct, publications or actions of a lender you're introduced to, or of any other outside party
  • Technical failures, interruptions or outages affecting the service
Clause 8

Section 8: Governing law and changes to these terms

These terms are governed by the law of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from them will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.

We may update these terms from time to time. A change takes effect the moment it's posted here, and continuing to use the site afterward means you accept it. The copy on this page is always the current, governing version.
